Baby #2 Is A…

Boy!

Daddy D and Alina got their wish… a little guy to shoot hoops with and a little bruder to boss around. They are very happy campers. And me? Well, I got my wish too. A healthy baby. Does it sound strange to say I really did not have a preference? Well, strange or not, I really did not have a preference.

Regardless of what any of us wanted, this little person I’m growing is a boy and our little family could not be more elated. Like I told the gals on my Facebook page, they’re stinky and dirty and they make me scratch my head in wonderment, but I suppose that strange world is destined to become mine. Although you will NEVER see me touch a worm. Like, ever.

I also wanted to say thank YOU! For your well wishes and congratulations. Being able to share our excitement with you, my readers, has been such a huge blessing. You girls {and guys} rock!

Con mucho amor,
Ness

It’s not strange at all not having a preference. Although personally I did for each three, and only once did I get what I wanted lol! I wanted a boy first and got that, only because I always wanted a big brother growing up. But then for the other two I was hoping for a girl, not because I didn’t want any more boys {which I did} but because I knew that there was only a limited amount of babies we were going to have so each time I had a boy, the chances of a girl were getting slimmer and slimmer. And to be honest, I only wanted one girl! If I had a girl 2nd or 3rd time, I would have wanted all boys from then on.

But no, it’s not strange that you don’t have a preference, I feel strange because I did!
