Summer has always been my favorite season of the year. In summer, Daddy D and I celebrate birthdays and the anniversary of our union. In summer, we’re void of agendas, spend spontaneously (recklessly?) on travel and savor the simple days with our kids.
But one of my most favorite things about summer are the collections of dresses that line the racks of every store, at every budget and every style. They’re short or tight and dark or sheer; summer dresses are diplomatic in their approach to fashion, fitting all body styles and making women everywhere feel beautiful.
The beauty of summer dress season is in way the fabric falls on our bodies, flowing gently as we move. It’s in the comfort we feel in wearing light weight material in hot months. Summer dresses are femininity. And they’re beautiful.
