Britax Travel System: An Overview

Ever since I joined the amazing group of Latina bloggers who represent Britax USA, close friends have been asking me very funny good questions about the Britax Travel System. One friend in particular, who is having her first child later this year, seeks out my opinion on almost every Britax baby product she buys, specifically the travel system. She is one of my most successful friends, can dissect a Fortune 500 company by reviewing its financial statements, knows for sure she wants to go with Britax, but did not understand the purpose of a travel system.

Well, my dear old friend, let me explain…

A “travel system” is a stroller with the capability to safely house and transport an infant who is still sitting in its infant car seat. The infant car seat is secured in a base while in the vehicle, but is able to be removed without disrupting the baby. The stroller then allows you to, well, stroll with baby without having to lug the seat in your arms. Usually that infant car seat must be capatible with its own specific stroller in order to be properly and safely utilized as a travel system, which really limits its use. For example, the travel system I used with Alina was compatible with only its full sized stroller that it came with {unless I used one of the frame strollers, which became 100% useless once she was out of her infant car seat}.

Luckily, all Britax infant car seats are compatible with one another by use of their Click & Go System. Meaning, you can have multiple strollers and use them all {easily} from birth and well into toddler-hood.

I love the Britax B- Agile and would absolutely get this travel system if I were in the market for one today. And although I don’t have a B-Agile single stroller, you can check out my review for the Double Stroller and see all the reasons why I couldn’t do without it. The Britax B-Agile Double Stroller is made of the highest quality materials and is used almost every single day in my household. It is a side-by-side stroller that fits into any standard doorway and very easy to maneuver, unlike my previous double stroller, which was an in-line. That in-line, tandem, whatever you want to call it, has NEVER been used again. OH! By the way, the Britax B-Agile Double Stroller can also be used as a travel system as show below…

I love this short video of the Britax B-Agile in use with the Click & Go System as a Travel System. It is thorough and shows many of its best features. Enjoy!
