Churro Cereal Bites: Quick Breakfast Recipe My Kids Love

I just love breakfast time with the kids! The moments after they awake with their sweet morning faces, crusted over from the dreams before, are some of my favorite of the day. And even though I didn’t grow up with a big breakfast food culture, quick breakfast recipes that my kids love has become my favorite thing to serve.

I partnered with Cheerios, in collaboration with Momtastic and Latina Bloggers Connect, to create one of my kids’ favorite quick breakfast recipe that embraces our family’s favorite treat: churros!

Churro Cereal Bites: Quick Breakfast Recipe

This Churro Cereal Bites recipe is so simple to make and it’s a quick breakfast recipe the kids love! They’re made with ingredients we always have on hand, like Cheerios cereal and sweetened condensed milk, but you can customize the flavors to whatever you enjoy most. Try adding ground flax and chia seed to the milk for an additional boost. My kids love them with dried fruits and nuts, too.

They’re a bit of a morning treat for my kids, so serve these Churro Cereal Bites alongside a serving of Greek yogurt and fresh fruit.

Sincerely, I love to cook for my babies and serve them foods that fill their bellies and their souls. I cherish the moments where my little boy color his superhero posters while eating his breakfast, adorned with a yogurt mustache.

Check out this simple and quick Churro Cereal Bites. I think you’ll love how much your kids enjoy them

Quick Question you say you used caramel bits, do you mean like chips? If so, what kind are you using? Lastly, what kind of fruits do you sometimes mix in with this? Sorry, I have twin 3 year olds and I would love to use this for them…

Hi Rakiyah, You are correct! The caramel bits that look like chips is what I used. (They must had said bits on the bag) Honestly, I usually use just regular caramel candies and those work the same way. Hope you guys enjoy!
