DreamWorks HOME Printables and Coloring Pages

Dreamworks HOME biracial child Tip

I love when my little girl sees herself on the big screen. And I don’t mean literally. I mean in the way entertainment television and movies are supposed to do: reflect a bit of reality mixed imagination, a great plot and amazing visuals. DreamWorks HOME does just that for my multiracial child, reflecting what so many kids’ realities look like, with their loveable characters and heart warming plot. I haven’t seen the film yet, but the kids and I are excited to check it out! In the meantime, we’re having fun with these printables and activity sheets.

We’re excited to see HOME! Here’s a bit about the movie: When Oh, a loveable misfit from another planet, lands on Earth and finds himself on the run from his own people, he forms an unlikely friendship with an adventurous girl named Tip who is on a quest of her own. Through a series of comic adventures with Tip, Oh comes to understand that being different and making mistakes is all part of being human. And while he changes her planet and she changes his world, they discover the true meaning of the word HOME.

Home starring Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna and Steve Martin is hitting theaters on March 27. It is rated PG.

Big thanks to DreamWorks for sending over these adorable HOME activity sheets for our multiracial moms! I’ve found that coloring with my child is always an opportunity for dialogue. And because my girl can (physically) see herself in HOME’s main character, Tip, the conversation turned to other important matters, such as why Oh’s friends didn’t like him. Or how silly he was. Or how excited my daughter was that Tip had a pet cat… and that its name was Pig!

Use these adorable HOME movie coloring sheets with your multiracial child today and talk about friendship, identity and what home really means. There’s a printable and coloring sheet for each main character. Don’t forget print to this adorable HOME activity sheet maze, too.

Also, check out HOME online for games too.

See you at the movies!
