Letras De Amor: Love In Focus

Alina, you have been looking at this picture since forever. It hangs, canvased, in our living room where we spend much our of time. Because the print is so large, it grabbed your attention at a fairly young age, although I am certain it was just a haze of colors to you back then. Over the months I can tell that you were beginning to see the picture in more detail- the settle pinks of my bouquet, the contrast of the cream dress against the black tux. Now, at almost 13 months, you see the picture in its entirety. Each morning, when we walk into our living room, you greet this picture with a certain knowledge: “Momma! Daddy!”.
True love is like that, sweet baby girl. A haze in the beginning, with a gradual sharpening of details and, eventually, a vision of the bigger picture. Only when you see it all, even the parts unfocused and unedited, can you fully appreciate the beauty of it. My wish is that one day you get your big picture, and that it hangs on your living room wall too.
