My Favorite Spring Dress! And Being Comfortable In Photos

Spring time brings so many possibilities! We start clearing out overfilled closets, cleaning behind furniture…. and sprucing up our warm weather wardrobe. So when Walmart asked me to pick out a favorite Spring item from their great selection of women’s clothing options, I knew exactly what I needed to update my tired mom fashion: a spring time maxi dress!

This one is by far my favorite. The Henley maxi dress is soft and comfortable, but still gives a little fashion flair. Perfect for an afternoon of gardening with the kids, I really enjoyed wearing it this weekend. It comes with a simple rope belt that accents the waistline, but I opted to throw an old denim shirt over it too (it was a little chilly outside).

I also picked up this cute straw hat. Since we’ve been spending so much time at the beach the last few weeks, it’s been a life saver. The red trim is super cute and I love the leather accent, too. I did a bit of gardening in this dress (nothing major – just potted a few succulents), then the family went out to lunch. I felt cute and comfortable… and that’s pretty much what mom fashion is to me these days. Affordable outfits that feel comfy and cute!

I had the hubby take a few pictures of me this weekend, too. I’m hardly ever in photos – with the kids or not – and that’s been bugging me lately. However, having a cute spring dress definitely helps 🙂
