I am having a blast looking back at old posts. It has been forever since I’ve read them. Not only are they a documentation of Alina’s growth, but I can actually see how much my writing and photography have improved too. I didn’t even own a DSLR back then. But even if not my best, every single photo memory is important to document – its the photo legacy we leave behind.
This week’s photo memories are packed with some goodies. I remember taking the first picture by the Las Vegas sign and thinking, “…what happens in Vegas cannot be all that sinful. My baby girl happened here, and she is an angel”. Or, as a new mom, freaking out about my baby’s physical development and our experience at baby gym. I wrote a post about how our dogs were once our babies and how pets impact a family. I absolutely loved reading all the posts about our trip to Atlanta to visit our friends Jessica and Ilah! One night, while in Savannah, we stayed in our hotel room with matching pajamas and a treat to share. Once back in Atlanta, we did a mini photo shoot of these insanely adorable bicultural babies and I wrote about how happy we were to come home to Daddy and celebrate Valentine’s Day together as a family of three. Remembering that trip to Georgia makes my heart ache to reconnect with my loving friend (and I know many of her readers are too!).
Enjoy the photo memories! And let me know in the comments if you have started your own Mama’s Momentos.

Oh Ness! Way to make me tear up with that last photo! Our babies!!!!!! What a sweet time that was for us – I will never forget our trip together with our baby girls! Love you! xoxo
The best of times my dear, dear friend. Love you!
I love going through old photos as well. I went through a bunch of L’s baby photos with him before B was born, to show him how cute he was as a baby… so many memories!
What a great way to prepare an older child for the arrival of a younger sibling! Love it!
