Running along the Savannah’s River Street is lined with yummy restaurants and quaint shops housed in century old buildings that once were cotton warehouses. Savannah’s history is built on its industrial port and it continues to be one of the busiest in the world. River Street is a great place to watch the ships coming and going, shop and fine dine.
After checking out of our hotel, Jess and I walked down to Savannah’s River Street for lunch before getting back on the road to Atlanta. We found this adorable little spot for the girls to play a bit and had a blast taking lots of pictures. They had on matching dresses and hair bows that Jess made {check out her Etsy shop, Morgan Lane Boutique} and were doted on by admirers constantly. We must have gotten asked if they were sisters about twenty times that day!
We had a wonderful lunch on River Street and fantastic stay in Savannah! Alina and I look forward to coming back with Daddy D and our friends very soon!

[...] As this post can grow to be entirely too long, I’ll stop now. Between Jessica and I, we took hundreds of pictures just on this day alone. Savannah Historic District is truly a magic place. I look forward to visiting in the Spring, when the flowers are in bloom and the air is less crisp. Visit this post to see our adventures of Savannah at Night. Next recap up is of Savannah’s River Street! [...]
