After nearly six years of living in this land of desert, I can recognize the gradual change of seasons from “too cold for my California blood” to “too hot for anyone but crazy tourists”. And that change is a happenin’. You get a week full of gloom, then a great day in the 60′s. Followed by a few days of cloud coverage, with a couple days in the lower 70′s. Now the forecast says temperatures will be in the mid to high 80′s all week long. It’s only a matter of time now. Oh ya baby, get ready for some triple digit temperatures!
These few weeks are truly my favorite of the year. The flowers are blooming, a slight breeze blowing, and Las Vegans are out and about enjoying the mild sunshine. The mad dash to apply SPF 500 sunblock on your face, while consuming copious amounts of water, has not taken hold on the population just yet. For another few weeks, we get to enjoy the outdoors, midday, without an assault to our bodies.
Here is my itty bitty baby during last year’s “change of seasons” season…. the perfect season for sunglasses! She was not even six months in these photos, actually more like 3 and 4 months. I can hardly rememebr her this tiny!
Over the weekend Daddy D and I took our much bigger, no longer itty bitty, baby to Town Square to enjoy their adorable playground and do some window shopping. Adorned with some new shades, Alina was just too cute for my words. I love my baby doll.
Wishing everyone a happy Wednesday!

That last photo is super cool! What a nice way to start the day {for me}. Sigh, oh the fun I could have with a little girl
Maybe one day….
She is just too cute! Love the shades (southern version of sunglasses)!
