Our journey in healthy mixed hair continues. At three years old, Alina's hair is thick and thick. And super thick. Her mixed hair is definitely very curly, with tight, tight ringlets at the nape of her neck, with looser curls on the top. She still has a more coarse section at her hair line. It is growing beautifully and the length is starting to really come down. I think doing the banded ponytail in our mixed hair night time routine really helps. My hair is really curly and resembles mixed hair textures. The hair itself is very fine, but I have a ton of it, making hair care management a challenge. None of this brush and go stuff that straight haired women do. Actually, it was even more curly when I was younger, when it was healthier, and I was living in California where humidity played a big factor in its puffy, frizzy nature.
