This kid has never had so much sugar in all her living months as she did that night. I was very close to calling cut from the onset of this gluttonous spectacle. But watching the moment between these two unfold made me quickly reconsider. Sugar high or crash, Alina was loving the sweet attention from her Great Uncle who she had not seen since she was an infant. Alina was giddy with excitement as each airplane approached its final landing, packed with spoonfuls of yumminess. The whole family couldn’t help but get excited too! I grabbed my camera {armed with my new 50mm. Prime takes some getting used to!} and embraced the sugar rush.
These pictures of my Tio feeding Alina bites of store-bought red velvet cake is the perfect recipe for today’s Tasty Tuesday. Sometimes sweet lovin’ for baby is what helps make the other {less sweet} stuff go down…
I love the photo above where she is pinching herself, as if to ensure she is not dreaming! And her flexed toe…. too hilarious!
Next week I promise a more healthful Tasty Tuesday. I am getting back on track with my Bountiful Baskets. But I do hope you enjoyed the last two weeks of sweet delights. Life deserves some sweetness every now and then.
Wishing you a great week!

LOVE it!
