Yesterday at 12:01 in the afternoon, our beautiful son was brought into the world via c-section. His name is Sebastian Richard, after my late Father-in-law who has made such an impact on our lives.
Daddy D and I appreciate all the love and affection we’ve received from, not only our family and friends, but from YOU too! The blogging community! We thank you and appreciate the sincere comments, concerned emails and even a special delivery that arrived the day before I went into the hospital! We are so blessed by you.
Sebastian weighed 7.8 lbs and was 20 in long at birth. He is changing constantly, but I am in awe of how much he already looks like his Daddy! Speaking of Daddy D… he has been my rock during this whole experience. He adores his son; doesn’t it show? I am at total peace having this man by my side.
I am recovering well, and HOPE to be busted out of this joint by tomorrow. I miss my baby girl, and am SO ready to have my family of four reunited. We are taking tons of pictures, and plan to share our joys with you, but please excuse my absence while I recover and bond with the newest love of our lives.
