Big Kid Scooter Review: Razor A Kick Scooter

I haven’t met a kid who doesn’t love a ride-on! From scooters to racing cars, ride-on toys allow kids to be more adventurous, autonomous and active. And for the first time, Walmart asked the big kids what their favorite ride-on toy was and they were loud and clear with their choice! The Razor A Kick Scooter won their vote as the hottest ride-on for the season.

I was asked to review this top toy. It was chosen by kids, but what did moms think? Here’s a bit more about the Razor A Kick Scooter…

Razor A Kick Scooter Review

Razor A Kick Scooter is available for under $35 and is available in multiple colors (blue, red, green, pink or black). The Razor A Kick Scooter recommended for ages 5+ and has a weight limit of 143 lbs. The scooter is very sturdy and made from aircraft-grade aluminum for strong and durable performance. The handlebar can be adjusted to three different heights according to the child’s comfort and is adjusted very easily. You can go from a smaller 5-year-old to a meg-tween in about 30 seconds.

Storing and carrying the scooter is simple as it can be easily folded. The Razor Scooter weighs 6lbs, which isn’t a ton of weight. I’ve read about parents traveling internationally with Razor Scooters to make long-days of touring the sights more enjoyable for the kids. I think that’s a great idea!

What About The Younger Kids?

My oldest child is approaching 5 years old, but my younger son is the one excited about the scooter. At a (huge) two years old, my little man enjoys walking the scooter around but is way too young to really enjoy this toy. Even being so young, though, the handlebars still reach him at their lowest setting. He is obsessed with HIS new scooter!

For the time being, my little ones will still use their three-wheel scooters to ride-along our adventures. I’ll keep this Razor Scooter handy, though, to let them practice balancing, etc. Walmart has a huge variety of ride-on scooters and bikes at all price points and abilities, but this Razor is a win for any parent because of its affordability and high quality make. I can’t wait to take this cool scooter on the road with us. Just don’t forget the helmets!

And don’t forget: the Razor A Kick Scooter is a top toy that is on the Chosen By Kids list, too!
